"Over the past 6 years, in my visits with friends and family to undertake multi-day bushwalks, we have always stayed at The Old Woolstore. It is "Hobart" to us. It is the best way to start and finish our trips, with a couple of days here - about 15 nights so far! The staff, service, quality of the whole hotel are all fantastic. Naturally we will be back!!" Front Office staff very helpful and informative. It was great to have internet available at such low cost. We didn't expect to have laundry facilities in-suite! Very quiet and comfortable. I stayed here through a military reservation. The hotel was awesome. It has an excellent restaurant in the lobby and the rooms are little apartments. I had a washer/dryer, living room, shower room, kitchenette, and a total of 4 rooms. The bar was fully stocked and had chocolate from the Cadbury factory nearby. The room was always kept clean and was in a beautiful part of downtown Hobart. This is excellent for business or a vacation." 'Army Dude' El Paso, Texas 2008
